Dear Plan Administrator: Please give me an accounting of what I pay in investment-related charges deducted from my account on an on-going basis. Please include information on investment management fees, 12b-1 fees, trading costs, and administrative charges directly deducted from my account to pay for my 401(k) plan. I am interested in learning how much I am paying and how much as a group my entire plan pays. Also, since I may be interested in reducing fees deducted from my account, please prepare for me an investment plan made up of diversified portfolio of investments, which is risk-appropriate for my age, that offers market returns and caps all investment fees--including investment management fees, 12b-1 fees and trading expenses--at 20 basis points (1/5th of 1%) or less.
