AMERICA 'S LOW COST PROVIDER OF 401K PLANS WITH INDEX FUNDS AND ETFS

In The News

February 21, 2005 — Investment News reporter Rick Miller wrote that among 401k administrators, Employee Fiduciary is one of the few “doing it right.” Employers can select for their 401k Vanguard funds, or any other funds, at a price “that is so cheap, investment advisors are calling to say that it seems too good to be true.”

February 11, 2005 — Plan Sponsor.com, the on-line issue of Plan Sponsor Magazine, offered a thumbnail sketch of Employee Fiduciary’s standard plans. The publication listed many benefits, including:

      • Free plan design consulting
      • The ability to select any 401k investments, including 401k index funds
and 401k ETFs, without paying any asset-based fees
      • Auto-rebalancing
      • Auto-enrollment
      • On-line access
      • Non-discrimination testing and completed forms for federal filings
      • Getting a small business 401k at large plan pricing ($25 per employee or less)

February 10, 2005 — 401(k)Wire, the retirement industry newswire wrote a profile on Employee Fiduciary. In a discussion of the best 401k plans, Employee Fiduciary’s Chairman, Greg Carpenter was quoted, asking rhetorically, "What could be of higher value than reducing fees to give people a larger nest egg?" The best 401k companies are those that provide full disclosure and control costs. "Everyone in this business claims to be a fiduciary,” Carpenter asserted. “It's time for 401k providers to start acting like fiduciaries."
