What Recordkeeping services are included in the pricing?

Employee Fiduciary will complete the following services on an ongoing and timely basis as recordkeeper: 

    • Provide website access to participants and plan administrator
    • Reconcile the trust account to the recordkeeping system daily 
    • Update share prices, and individual account balances daily 
    • Process certain transaction trades, including employer and employee contributions and fund transfers 
    • Prepare quarterly benefit statements 
    • Originate and maintain participant loans 
    • Provide participant fee notices, as required under ERISA 404(a)(5) 
    • Prepare an Audit Support Package (if independent Plan audit is required) 
What fees apply to participants?
    • Participant Loans - $50 origination fee; $50 annual maintenance fee
    • Participant Distributions - $50 per distribution
    • In-Plan Roth Conversion - $100 per conversion
    • QDRO review and account division - $150 per QDRO
    • Self-Directed Brokerage Accounts - $100 per account per year (plus applicable trading fees)
    • Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) - $0.01 per share trading fee
What professional investment advice options for employees are available?

At Employee Fiduciary, you can choose Target Date Funds or hire a financial advisor.  If you need help finding an advisor, you can search our directory to find an advisor in your area. 

What investment options are available?

Employee Fiduciary does not limit your investment options.  You can choose any fund we are able to trade through our custodian assuming the fund is open to new investors and any minimum funding requirements are satisfied.  

 

You can also choose to include a Self-Directed Brokerage Account (SDBA) through Charles Schwab, known as the Schwab Personal Choice Retirement Account® (PCRA). This allows you to invest in any fund on the market, even those outside your plan's fund lineup.
